RACE OVERVIEW

Founded and produced by the Toronto Running Community, the Toronto Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day race in Canada. Participants begin their holiday weekend with thousands of other runners and walkers committed to investing in their community. All proceeds are donated to local nonprofit beneficiary organizations: Daily Bread Food Bank, Second Harvest Canada, Habitat for Humanity and SickKids Foundation.

This family-focused event welcomes participants of all fitness levels – elite runners, joggers, and walkers – to enjoy the flat and fast course that flows through downtown Toronto's major streets and roadways.

IN-PERSON RUN TIMELINE

8:00 am: Bib/shirt pickup and gear check open in the festival area
9:45 am: Costume Contest judging at the start line
10:00 am: 10K Run start
10:15 am: 5K Run/Walk start
10:20 am: Main Festival Area Opens
11:00 am: Kids Fun Run 1K (ages 5-12) starts in Kids Fun Zone
11:20 am: Awards ceremony at festival area stage
11:30 am: Event conclusion
